Billy Robinett J.D.

Biography

Billy Robinett, J.D.: For the first 20 years of his career, Billy directed the legal and risk department for a large, national restaurant company. He managed the entire portfolio of legal issues from transactions to litigation by designing policies, developing strategies, and executing solutions across a wide spectrum legal and business challenges. Billy also consulted with other restaurant companies during that time regarding their ongoing legal risks. His experience in hospitality, employment, policy, contracts, franchising, mediation, investigations, and litigation management from the client’s perspective makes it easier to know exactly what a client expects from an attorney.

Billy completed law school while closing out his career in hospitality. While at South Texas College of Law, he was a decorated trial advocate, winning multiple awards for trial advocacy and public speaking. With two decades spent in business and now the legal education to support it, Billy provides creative solutions to complex legal problems for his clients without interfering with their business. He knows all too well how easy it is for lawyers to get in the way of a good deal.
